This, That, and Then Some

Wow.

I have been really neglectful about being online and reading blogs. I have only managed to update my blog semi-weekly, but that’s about it. So many projects and what not.

I found out that Just Julie recently went through some surgery and I wasn’t aware of that. I didn’t get the chance to wish her well. I am glad to see she is recovering well. For that, Julie I am sorry…get well soon!

It seems it is so easy to lose touch sometimes. We get caught up in our own lives, or become frustrated as I did with this whole Pay Per Post issue (that’s a story for another day!), and just generally down on life.

I started getting into the blog scene pretty heavy and read a lot of other blogs, checked out some other resources, blog supports, etc.     Then…nothing.

So for all you out there who’s blogs I have not visited for awhile, I apologize. Same goes for the comments and not returning the favor. I am hoping to sort my time back in order and re-devote myself to re-connecting to you all. Thanks to all those who have been stopping by, even with my lack of connection to you all.

Yet another way to demonize smokers.

The MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) Film Rating board has decided to add the words or reference to persons smoking in movies as part of their rating system. As they put it, any illegal acts of smoking in a film were already rated, but now they want to include all smoking regardless of film content or usage:

Now, all smoking will be considered and depictions that glamorize smoking or movies that feature pervasive smoking outside of an historic or other mitigating context may receive a higher rating. Read the rest of this entry »
