This, That, and Then Some

As I said earlier, I have been writing novles and short stories recently. The novel is based on a story I started many years ago.

Dragon Sage: The Realms of Ardd is a series starting with Blood and Bane. It surrounds the Dragons who rule Ardd and an old stave, or sorcerer.

In approximately one month, the ashes of the late James Doohan, the actor who played Scotty (Montegomery Scott) on Star Trek will be sent into space!

Houston-based commercial company Space Services Inc. said some of Doohan’s remains were packed into a rocket at Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Friday, ahead of the flight scheduled for April 28.

Space Services spokeswoman Susan Schonfeld said Doohan’s ashes will be sent up along with the remains of some 200 other people, including astronaut Gordon Cooper, who first went into space in 1963. Cooper died in 2004 at age 77.

What an awesome way to say farewell to our favorite, Scottish engineer! To me, this is the ultimate way to spread my ashes when I cross over. I have always had a fascination with space and sci-fi, and hopefully this will be a common practice that is affordable when my time is up!
