I have many hats and many hobbies.
Yes I keep very busy.
Yes I stretch myself too thin sometimes.
Who cares? I am having fun doing as many things as I can in this lifetime.
Isn't that what life is for?
This blog reflects on my lifestyle and philosophies, rants and raves, and
hopefully a bit of humor.
I chose this background because it is so artistic, comfortable, and shows both sides of the day. Just like our everyday lives.

In approximately one month, the ashes of the late James Doohan, the actor who played Scotty (Montegomery Scott) on Star Trek will be sent into space!
Houston-based commercial company Space Services Inc. said some of Doohan’s remains were packed into a rocket at Las Cruces, New Mexico, on Friday, ahead of the flight scheduled for April 28.
Space Services spokeswoman Susan Schonfeld said Doohan’s ashes will be sent up along with the remains of some 200 other people, including astronaut Gordon Cooper, who first went into space in 1963. Cooper died in 2004 at age 77.
What an awesome way to say farewell to our favorite, Scottish engineer! To me, this is the ultimate way to spread my ashes when I cross over. I have always had a fascination with space and sci-fi, and hopefully this will be a common practice that is affordable when my time is up!
Anyone else interested in having your ashes scattered into space?

Know insurance companies have a new way of attaching costs or savings to your policy - what’s your astrological sign?
Apparantly, if you are among those who’s Sun sign falls under Libra or Aquarius, you are a bad driver! LOL
Insurance Hotline did a study recently, out of 100,000 insured motorists to see which of the twelve Zodiac signs are the best drivers (Leos and Geminis) and those with the worst records (Libras and Aquarians). Oh great…something else for the Leos to show off! Read the rest of this entry »

The debate regarding life on other planets or in other star systems has raged on for thousands of years. But like so many “alternative” beliefs or explorations, for about 1500 years, the knowledge or study of astronomy and the Earth was taboo.
Today, we are discovering whole new worlds here on Earth and in our Universe. Scientists are discovering brand new species of plant and animal life everyday, in remote locations and areas of the Earth that have yet to be explored! Read the rest of this entry »
