This, That, and Then Some

I cannot believe I have had this blog for over two years now. Of course, the last year it has been largely ignored. Not intentionally, just kinda lost interest.

So here I am again, on Thanksgiving, working overtime on my websites to revamp, restyle, and re-ignite interest and content in them. For now.

I have been focusing on writing my novels, and work has been stressful and busy. So needless to say, everything else has gotten pushed off.

Except for my drumming. That has never stopped. In fact, it has increased quite a bit. Again, I haven’t even updated my drum blog either, just left things hanging for now.

I have also deleted a LOT of old content. I wanted to start more fresh with new content, but had to leave some of the older postings up.

So, here is the new look, new directions, and new ideas. Read on!

Which I haven’t been doing. At least not on blogs.

I have been in the process of doing other creative things, like writing a book, music (my new drum band) and of course, work. I went balls out on this blog some time ago (I cannot believe it’s almost a year ago) and now it has taken a back burner to other interests. Plus the fact I kinda ran out of ideas. I know, it seems hard to do. I think part of it is that I lost some interest as well.

That sometimes happens to me. My drumming has been a constant in my life. Always will be I think. But I get interested in some things and go at it for awhile - then stop. Why?

I guess I felt as though I wasn’t contributing enough, or perhaps I wasn’t reading as many blogs as I was used to. I read a lot. But, again, my focus has been elsewhere.

I am still here, though, and I hope to add some more words here soon. Hi to everyone!
